Productive!!

Hey everyone, 

I've been away for a bit on DA but I have good news! I've been super-duper productive with my art and writing. I've been drawing every day like a fuckton again like I used to, now I have a stack of drawings that's like half an inch thick and I haven't gotten around to scanning it all yet but yeah, I'm really excited to show you guys my new art.

I made 5 new characters (of sorts) for Anomalies! There's two god characters, god of toxins and the goddess of another planet (because all the planetary gods are female), and the toxins god is pretty much where my symbiote characters come from. Not the actual girls the symbiotes graft (if you remember them that is) onto but the symbiote itself. Originally I was going to have it where the symbiotes are just some creepy spirit plasmas (discussed in definition here) that took corporeal form on the physical plane, but now I'm spinning it where they're pretty much an alien species kind of like oil where the planet they came from shoved them deep and far away but the peoples indigenous to the planet (named Aglorthia, which is the name of the planetary goddess for that planet) developed to the point where they tried to live underground and accidentally freed all these dangerous symbiote goos, idk what to call it but it's pretty much like liquid putty/pudding/jello, basically. Anyway, the peoples indigenous to the planet (they're called Kraracies for plural, singular is Krarlock, these are my third characters invented) tried moving underground because the surface of the planet got too hot for them to survive on and as they moved deeper under the crust, they accidentally released these ancient symbiotes. Eventually, the symbiotes took over and killed every Krarlock on the planet and for a long time, you'd think they'd just be stuck there or die or something, but all they did instead was hibernate again.

Then my fourth new character, named Skikel Emboxie, who is a being from Leohta (khus I have a lot of planet names) one day comes to check out Aglorthia because the Kraracies haven't been heard from in a long time and Leohta didn't originally have the technology to leave it's solar system but it finally got that technology so checking up on their long-time inter-solar systemary (that's not a word?) merchant traders only to discover it's desolate, the inhabitants once known to be there are all dead, and no one's been there for like thousands of years. He accidentally picks up some of the symbiote substance on his foot when he returns to his ship and jets out, thus bringing it to Leohta when he returns home to report his discoveries to the government. The symbiote, though, left Skikel alone at the shipping dock and, instead, grafted to a roubon (the fifth character developed, roubons are dragon shape-shifters from Panadagea) preping to leave Leohta and the roubon heads to Earth with this symbiote on it thus bringing the symbiotes to Earth. (The roubon went to Earth to find out what has become of Diego and Sligh, two of Torture's favorite roubons) LOL.

So there's my new characters and the new story I'm working on. I've also been drawing a lot of my other Anomalies characters and have been exploring the use of pens and color pencils again in my art. I've got like 5 pages left of my little sketchbook that's taken me two years to fill.  

Furthermore, APRIL FOOL'S!!! That's all bullshit. The symbiotes are still spirit plasmas, there's no Aglorthia, no Kraracies/Krarlocks, no Skikel Emboxie, not alien symbiote invasion of Earth. Nope, none of that. (Although now that I think of it, I might make those a thing, just not involving symbiotes.) And sadly I haven't been drawing a lot. No drawings at all in the month of March. LOL.

But some good (real) news I have is my mom and I bought a new car, yay! In early March, the car we got in December crapped out on my mom so we went to a car dealer this time and got a nice used car for $5000, roughly. I fucked up with the phone interview for my financing loan on the car so we had to re-write the contract and that was done yesterday. The good news is it's smogged, registered, and insured, which is a huge relief for my mom who's the one driving it. I'm still working my two jobs. This week and next, I'm super busy at my zoo job, working 5 days a week @____@ No me gusta!! 

And lastly, I got my white little betta. In February, I wanted to get a white betta when I saw them in the fish shop one day. So I got my tank ready and I got an african dwarf frog (I named her Bela, I think it's a her ) and then the pet shop didn't come in with some more white bettas like they thought they would, so I got a pair of painted skirt tetras and an albino cory catfish to keep Bela company. I just call the catfish Cory and one of the painted skirt tetras had some orange on him so he's OJ, and the other had some pink so I called him Pinky. So Pinky ended up being an aggressive little fish!! The terror of the tank! He'd pick on OJ whenever he saw him, Bela always hid everywhere, Cory didn't fuckin care khus Cory just does whatever the fuck it does. And then I got my betta a week ago and Pinky was picking on him!! So I put Pinky in his own tank and within the week, I noticed EVERYONE in the community tank was like tons more active with him gone. So yesterday I brought Pinky back to the pet shop I got him at (a different place than from where I got the white betta) and they gave me store credit. Pinky will be re-sold to another fish owner probably and now my betta and everyone else in the tank is happy. I named my betta Casper because he looks like a little ghost. He's super pretty!!
