Con Cube (s)

So apparently, the DA booth at San Diego Comic Con was handing out these little freebie sheets of paper where if you draw on all sides of the cube, cut it out, fold it into a cube, and post a photo of it on DA, you get a free month DA membership. So, here's my little cubes! I really miss my membership so if I can get a month, that'd be pretty awesome!

One cube has my OC Loki drawn on all the sides (except for the DA Logo side) and the other has my OC Sataniel drawn on all the sides (except for the DA logo side). They're both gods in my story series, Anomalies. You can see all the sides (I scanned it before I cut everything out) by clicking this link right here.

I drew the Loki cube sides first. And I really love how his original incarnation side came out (that's the top side pictured here). Ugh. I love all my Loki's incarnations. Although, I didn't draw his "Sweeney Todd" looking incarnation or his wtf-blue-skin-and-yellow-stripes-?? incarnation on any of the sides. ;u; But I drew a lot of his 2012/2013 incarnations, which mainly depicts him ditching the "kilt" looking skirt he wears (his 2010 incarnation) or the long one-piece he's been seen wearing (his 2011 incarnation), and instead he wears the orange shirt with a plume of multi-colored feathers for the collar, and some dark purple/pink pants that end at his knees, ending with a matching plume of feathers around each knee. And slippers, he wears slippers.

Then it was a toss up between drawing Demi or Sataniel as I kind of wanted to draw both so I asked ~silenceunk0wn which one to go with and she said since I had already drew a male character, I should go for a female one.

Well... Sataniel isn't technically female, but s/he does take that form often. So

And well, Sataniel needs a little more face time anyway. S/he's one of those kind of OCs of mine that kinda sneaks in random places but is never a focus on his/her own. Plus I really love Sataniel's beast form. It's like three or two of everything. Also, I don't think I've ever explained before, Sataniel's a bit unique from the other gods of Anomalies because s/he has a three-dimensional shadow. It always kind of seems to take it's own form, separate from the form s/he's taking.

I was planning on posting one to my ~NanasFreak account in the hopes of possibly getting a DA membership for both of my accounts, but now I don't care since that account is inactive. If any DA staff member is actually going through and reading all the comments on the Con Cubes, please give some nice deviant here on DA a month's membership, since I have two cubes here.

I'm kind of tempted to make some more since these were a lot of fun to make.

Time spent: Approx. 2 1/2 for the drawings, 1 for cutting and folding.
Materials:
- Printer/Scanner (For all my scanning and printing needs)
- Strathmore 400 Series Drawing paper (This paper's great because the Copic markers don't bleed severely like they do on regular print paper, and the paper itself isn't flimsy which enables the cubes to be a bit more firm than what the shiny sheet of paper the original print outs were on. It's also really cool because it can run through the printer with no problems.)
- 0.5mm mechanical lead pencil
- 005 Micron pen (Because Micron pen marks don't bleed when you use Copics over them)
- Various Copic Markers
- OfficeMax stainless steel scissors (my fave scissors since I just found them lying around one day and they cut really well)
- Office Depot tape
